About me, the founder - Joanna Malinowska

I am a qualified and registered clinical hypnotherapist and have completed a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling and a Certificate IV in Clinical Hypnotherapy at the Academy of Applied Hypnosis,

Australia's leading school in hypnotherapy. I have acquired qualifications in Medical Hypnosis, Hypnoanalysis, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). I am also a Family Constellations Facilitator, trained by Yildiz and Satish Sethi.

I am accredited and registered as a clinical member by the Australian Hypnotherapist Association (no. CM 0307138). I am also a Registered Professional Member of the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists (no. 1358N).

I am trained in various therapies and techniques and those techniques are especially effective when combined with self-hypnosis, because the hypnotic state allows focus on, and the direct access to, the enormous resources of our subconscious mind. Over the years I've adapted some techniques from related therapies and also my own techniques for use in hypnotherapy and self-hypnosis.

I enjoy my work as a therapist and as a teacher. It gives me an enormous amount of satisfaction to be able to help people find their potential and overcome their issues and problems, to dispose of their unhealthy beliefs and to implement and experience the new ways. And there is even greater satisfaction in teaching – when clients learn how to access and utilise their own resources, how to empower themselves and to be able to handle future situations. It is such a joy to assist and teach principles for self-awareness, clarity, self-growth and effective techniques to apply these principles in everyday life.

When I work with students, I am sharing not only my professional knowledge and experience, but also years of rich personal experience and even the generations of teaching experience from my parents and grandparents. In my life, before committing myself to hypnotherapy, I had a handful of professions. I started earning my living as a math tutor when I was 14 years old, I have a Master’s Degree in Science, I worked as a high school teacher, and I had a successful career in IT. I am a mother and together with my husband have raised three wonderful young people. I was born in the totalitarian regime and I've spent my formative years selecting the truth from lies; I had my little part in the underground peaceful freedom movement; and much, much more – just life, full of events, sometimes traumatic.

I had many teachers in my life and I am so grateful to all of them. They taught me so much, all the skills and techniques and much, much more, because they shared their lives with me, they shared their deepest thoughts and feelings from their hearts and their souls. And as everybody we meet is a teacher, I am especially grateful to my clients and my students who opened their hearts and taught me who I am. I can only bow to you and say thank you, thank you all, I am proud to be one of you and I am totally committed to pass on everything I've learnt from you.
